Okay, so since I wanted to have NwN working on more than just the computer that runs it semi-decently, I decided to install it on my old desktop. Like it says in the title header, it's an older computer which I have no problems running Morrowind at all. The video card is an Nvidia GeForce 6200 A-LE, the ram is 786 MB, and it's a pentium III-900 MHz. The sound card is integrated on an VIA motherboard I believe, which I don't -think- that could be the issue if Morrowind is running fine I can play virtually all day and the only problem I have is a little bit of slowdown when being hit by a bunch of cliffracers, but as for NwN I dunno what's up with it freezing the whole system where I have to force reboot it. Like I said, I don't think that it's the sound card, but then again it could be.
Here's the dxdiag stuff.

Like I said, an older rig, in fact... Ancient. It runs NwN for a few hours sometimes, other times a few minutes and locks up, then I have to hard reboot the thing. I mean for what it does run, it runs well. Graphics are good, fps is pretty decent, I can even play at higher resolutions than the other computer I play on, it's just the severe crashing in which ctrl+alt+delete doesn't even work. People say my rogue keeps firing his arrows while frozen. Thank god for Epic Dodge. Without it, I'm pretty sure my character on this PW would have been ganked. :innocent: Any help would be greatly appreciated! And I can't throw this old thing out and get a new one. As for a sound card, I dunno if that would work or not considering the motherboard has one integrated, but open PCI slots. It's a big head scratch for me, but hey, you can't just say no to free PCs.
