lost my cd key

               Hola, I have been playing NWN since it came out, learned to script and use the toolset.
not long ago my big bro bought a lap top, hoping he can play with me nwn, but here in Israel - they stopped selling NWN in 2006. There for he asked our uncle from Canada to send us his Diamond NwN that he doesn't play anymore. unfortunatly he lost his manual and theredor the cd key also. Anoyed, we tried installing the NWN with my CD Key with no luck, I also tried downloading a cd key, which did work, we were struggling to update it and managed and struggled to play it with Win7 and managed too!!! but we were not able to play together online. Has anyone any idea how I can receive a new CD-Key? that may be played with online?

               Unless your uncle had the foresight to register his game on the legacy Bioware forum site and can log in to retrieve hsi CD keys, there is no recourse.  Alternately, if he still has the receipt from his purchase, he could request a replacement from Atari/Bioware.

CD keys are a commodity so need to be protected just like the discs themselves.

Other than the possibilities outlined above, I suspect the only way you will be able to play on-line is to download a copy of the game from GoG and use the new set of keys they provide.  The cost is very reasonable and is available world-wide so if I were placed in a similar situation, that is the route I would take.
