Changing Item Cost Question
« on: October 22, 2015, 03:15:23 pm »

I thought that by changing the ItemPropDef 2da I could increase the (gold) cost of certain properties.  I edited this 2da and the resistance cost 2da, in my override copies, and saw no difference in the cost of relevant items in-game.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, despite downloading a file that was supposed to contain all of the 'missing' 2das, I am still missing a few 2da's I notice.  Anyone have a link to a file with ALL of the 2da's?

Thanks.

Changing Item Cost Question

ItemProp changes won't affect already existing resources, IIRC, but will affect toolset creations from that point on. Specific item variables / resource values for those items in your possession or within a module are stored within the bic / mod or item blueprint rather than generated on the fly. I believe you have to override the item itself with a copy made with the altered 2das in place and, if you already possess the item, replace it in the mod or on the character / creature.

Rolo compiled an assortment of all the NWN1 resources here. I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for but it has all the latest stock 2das after all official patches.
