Removing OC Tilesets from Dropdown
« on: December 26, 2013, 04:06:23 pm »

Is there a way to remove the OC tilesets I don't wish from the dropdown menu when creating a new area?  We have a different Forest as well as Rural tileset, and while they are renamed, I'd prefer to not even see the default tilesets.

to do it you have to rename the set and edge 2da of custom tilesets to override standard tileset, aka you rename xxx01.set/xxx01_edge.2da to ttr01.set/ttr01_edge.2da.

This will however break all your existing areas made in xxx01 tileset, so you either have to do this at the beginning of the area bulding or you have to repair your areas later eiher manually via gff editor or via moneo/letoscript. Specifically you will need to change field Tileset in the .ARE file from "xxx01" to "ttr01".

Ahh, I see.  Fortunately, I have already converted over all the "stock" tilesets to our improved versions a while back, so it sounds like simply a little edit and we are good to go.

Thank You.  '<img'>
