Is there a way to remove spells from a class without haks? Thanks!

except obvious workaroud of removing the spell when learned not
and that workaround requires NWNX

I think the reason being is that the spells are tied to classes via the spells 2da file. The only way to disallow specific items in that list from showing to the class at level up is to modify those lines and then hak pack it.
Otherwise, as suggested ^^, in-mod script could mechanically disallow that spell post-learning it. The mechanism may also dialog removal of XP and force back the level-up so the user could choose a different spell in place of the one not allowed. That would of course be messy.

Alternately, modify the TLK file and change the name of the spell to "not allowed" or "do not pick" or something similar. That might tell a non-jerk user to not pick the spell, however, an evil user will still pick it. So not suggested for large PW.

I plan on using the NWNX plugin. Specifically, I wanted to remove the spell casting ability of Bards.
