A question about buildings.
« on: October 10, 2013, 03:44:18 am »

How do you create buildings, like, say, a street so that there are no spaces between them? I know this is probably a pretty basic question, but I'm having some trouble figuring it out.

use the tileset building instead of the placeable object building.   just paint em in close together and they'll merge together.

Yes I've done that but nothing seems to be working. I'm using Windows 7, maybe the problem, don't really know. Probably not but...anyways the computer is really fast. It's hard trying to zoom and move around with the cursors without going too far and stuff. Any responses would be appreciated. (Could this be a bug)?

I don't mean the speed of the computer being a bug...I mean the problem with the buildings.

What Calgacus said... You need to use one of the "building" brushes in the "terrain" menu. If you click repetitively on the same green box, you will switch the different building tiles available. Buildings have to be contiguous to merge.

May i suggest you try "Neverwinter Nights Module Toolset Construction" Tutorial to help you start. This is a fun and very well done way to start buiding modules. It gives you a good training in a mix of basic building habilities.

After that you could probably use the Lexicon and Omnibus, also don't forget to read the excellent sticky thread "Ressources for Nwn1 builders" here.

Yum... A too fast computer is a delicious problem to have '<img'>  Wish i had it! If the speed is really problematic perhaps you could try to slow your graphic card using a tuning utility and disminishing the GPU and memory frequency clock.
