Having gone through all (and I mean all) of  the scripts on the vault (as part of my research for my ABC attempt) I was struck by one thing. The lack of votes. Why are builders so mean with theirs when it comes to scripts? No I am not talking about my own offerings, I am talking about everbodies with a tiny number of exceptions. To be honest, I now consider myself to be very lucky to have gotten 2 whole votes for Fun Doors when there are other's who have not been rewarded who deserve to be.

So have you used a someone else's scripts and not voted for them? Why not?

I think it just a fact of the numbers.

When an entry in the vault can be used (and appreciated) by a larger group, it has the potential of obtaining more votes than if otherwise were the case. Scripts are used generally by builders, a sub-set of the NWN audience so would tend to get fewer votes (and fewer looks) than (for example) a hak pack which gets downloaded by both builder and player and DM....  Just numbers.

Be well. Game on.
