How to delete painted terrain
« on: November 22, 2012, 11:57:48 am »

For the life of my I cannot figure out how to do this.   I try using erase but it only seems to change the current tile.   I read on help that said add a wall to the middle of the starter room, all that did was add a wall and not delete the tiles.

I can't even delete the tiles I have painted myself(I can undo them) if I need to delete one tile and return it to blackness how do I accomplish this.

It depends on the tileset. "Wall" for many interior tilesets tends to be a "blank" space which appears to be what you are requesting, but sometimes placing only one "Wall" space does not look as substantial as you expected. Place them at least 2 deep in both directions to get a glimmer of what I am talking about.

What tileset is this for?

Oh wow,  that worked great.  Making them 2x2 worked just fine.  I now have an emply slate.  I am working with Steamworks.

Thank you.

So now you understand that sometimes "wall" is a narrow wall between spaces, and sometimes its a blank tile. '<img'>
