Couple of Toolset Issues

               Apologies if this is posted elsewhere i have looked around and couldnt find anything similar...


So the main one is once i create a custom NPC or item (Or anything that opens a window ON TOP of the original toolset window) Once im done creating/scripting etc the area i was trying to work on is simply not there. I just have a grey screen. Im currently working around this by loading up another area then RE-loading the one i was working at first. I dont have any GFX issues when playing or testing so not to sure whats going on there.

Second issue though it ties in with the first...When i do want to create or Edit Copy an item NPC etc i wait for the window that allows me to do this appear. What happens then is my Toolset flashes as if the window should of appeared but it hasnt. I then have to Alt-Tab to Desktop then back into Toolset to see the required window. Doing this then causes the Area i was originally viewing to turn grey. (Issue 1 above)

Im running NwN As Admin and in Compatability mode XP SP3, I have NwN Installed directly to C:, And have no issues when playing the game itself at any graphics settings...Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This seems to be a popular issue  - I have it also with Windows 7.
When opening a sub menu in toolset, I need to hover over the tab for toolset at the bottom of the screen, and then click on the sub menu.

Its not a major hinderence though.

Dunno how to fix - it is likely a Windows 7 compatibility issue.

               So what your saying is that there is essentially no fix for this.....I find that hard to believe. Someone must have experienced this or similar previously. Any ideas anyone else...Thanks for the hlpe though Baaleos '>

               try Compatability with windows xp2 sp2. thats what i run NWN and the toolset on with my windows7.

Also, NWN does not always do well with the latest drivers for both video, and sound. You may need to roll them back to get better results.
