I've never used haks in any of my work, then again, I'm not big on sceenery, nevertheless, my favorite tileset is the basic Bioware Forest Tileset, mainly because it's so beautiful if properly lighted and layed out, it makes one of the best module settings I've ever experienced too.
One builder, on the Awakening, under PW Action, has a fantastic module with mostly a forest / hills like setting, and without a doubt, they have got the setting thing down, for many of their monsters FIT the area...
When you look at building a module, you have to consider the settings, and monsters greatly effect what the proper area tileset should be, or features within the area, for you can have graveyards in more than one tileset, but ultimately, PCs will want to explore these graveyards, and that usually includes going into crypts...
I love many different tilesets I've encountered, however, that doesn't mean any of them are bad, cause I'm not a tileset critic, I am however an environment type of builder, where setting, plot, and the environment you create for the players means more than how cool a tileset looks, or what features it may or may not have..
Hope this satisfied your question & gave you some extra insight possibly..
