The Cep Nexus - 50.148.102.196:5121

I would like to dedicate this post to a favoured mod of mine that has recently come back online. The Cep Nexus yields an outstanding amount of detail, Progressive difficulty, Exceptionally thorough and involving battle and puzzle dynamics. There is a total of five Tiers of difficulty spread across five Islands. There is no predetermined item drops from the magnitude of bosses, but instead an improvised loot system which works in relation to a grid, To clarify instead of just receiving the same item over and over, Instead a script rolls three hundred sided dice and dependant on how you score it determines the class of item you receive from the drop pool. B being the Best (Typically 90+, 80+, 70+) down to a Q being the worst (30-, 30-, 30-) Every single item class has been remade following the design stated prior. Robes, Amulets, Greatswords, Daggers, Staves, Everything now has a B-Q, or if you progress through the islands. The loot will progressively get better and provide your character of choice additional bonuses. Bosses respawn every half hour and every single enemy is customized.

Item classes for Boon (First and least challenging island) are B-Q, Item classes for Dune (Island designed for level 13-20) is *B*-*Q*, Item classes for Winterborn (Island designed for being 20-30) being **B** - **Q**, Item classes for BlackCloak (Island designed for 30-40) being ***B*** - ***Q***, and the final island being Claw Island is designed for only the greatest, most equipped builds and respectively drops ****B**** - ****Q**** items. Every single item across the very many tiers and quality of drop is different from the others. A **D** Rapier will be significantly different than a ***J*** Rapier, but perhaps a ***H*** Longsword has more skills that will give you attribute bonuses, or Discipline skill. Its all a matter of character preference.

There is an outstanding amount of customized scripts, The most useful in which allow you to teleport between across islands, and to various locations as well as your party leader once you have acquired your Portal Stone.

The Cep Nexus supports all character classes, and builds. There are no locked feats, Many of the spells have been altered to improve effectiveness to make Offensive Spell Casting builds more viable. There is even a way to reroll one's character at the expense of gold should you decide that you do not favour your build, but do not wish to completely make a new character. Melee based characters flourish as a first character, Spell casting characters have a challenging beginning but become truly outstanding as well. There are bank's across the isles so that you can save your gold should you desire to reroll your character or just don't wish to compromise it should you have to respawn across the waves of enemies throughout your encounters.

The enemies are intelligent. They have been designed to make you think, Whether it be a matter of their general patterns or grouping, or their innate resistances (For example a *.Nexus Living Dead.* having a resistance to piercing, and slashing, All the general undead immunities, but near exclusively a weakness to Bludgeoning, Positive, and Divine weapons.) the resistances when in close proximity to one another causing a player to actively think on their feet and strategize on which would be the best way to dispatch their opponents while taking the least amount of damage.

The Cep Nexus requires Cep 2.3, and of course HoTU 1.69. The Cep Nexus is designed for Co-operative play, but can be played solo.

The Cep Nexus has its own forum located at http://cepnexus.forumotion.com/  and has a supportive and helpful community seeking new members, and like-minded players to once again indulge in a wonderfully detailed and designed mod.

The address of the server is 50.148.102.196:5121 My personal login is ArchBishopLazarus, and I certainly hope to see new players online as well! Many of the players are exceptionally friendly and are more than happy to be of assistance, and should you request it would be more than happy to create a new character and help point you in the right direction.

Any further inquiries I would be more than happy to answer, or you could find out the answer yourself since a assortment of helpful guides are always present in the initial entrance.

For further clarity. I am not a DM, I am merely a player who wishes to invite more players to try out this mod which I have enjoyed so much.
