I didn't mean that you were shifted during the crash of SotH. I was wondering if the character from you local vault might have been shifted (in the module from which you saved him) when he was saved.

I created a new game with your character and it worked just fine -- stripped the items properly and no crash when opening the store.  Have you tried this multiple times with new modules or just once?  Want to make sure this is consistently happening for you before I start a new game 20 times or something to try to reproduce the crash.

I'd also try renaming your override folder like MrZork said to see if you get the crash without any overrides.

Made a video of what I did.  Seems fine on my end.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I'll have to:
where can one download Anya's Amazing Adventure, Grand Old Chicken and all those modules that you seem to possess on your HD?

To contribute to the thread: I usally try to rename override folder to sth like noverride and create an empty folder that I name override. Its much faster way and keeps the files.

Thread's effectively dead at the moment, anyway, except for Lazarus's issue -- was used for deciding what to do prior to the v1_06 release.  So you're hijacking the hijack!

Anya's Amazing Adventure was a birthday present for someone named Anya '<img'>

Grand Old Chicken was me giving an exhibition of the toolset at a computer science group to get people interested in NWN -- basically was a "Give me crazy ideas and we'll make a very brief module with it."

Q: "What should we call the module?"

A: "Grand Old Chicken"

Q: "What should the first area be?"

A: "The Coop."

Q: "What kind of terrain?"

A: "Frozen Wastelands."

Q: "What should the zone be like?"

A: "A maze with minotaurs and sphinxes."

And so on.

Interestingly enough, there are no chickens in it.  But there is a Skeleton Chieftain with 2000 HP and a Gold Dragon with some *very* unusual dialogue.  Could upload it or something if you're *really* curious '<img'>

What other modules were you wondering about?

Indeed.

I quite doubt that the bic was saved while shifted, but I can not say for sure (the PW it saved from allows all items to be merged when shifting, if you were thinking that's why my helm and armor were still present...)

And I am very busy these days, sorry was not able to respond sooner? Don't know what to tell you MM, I was mearly reporting the issue I encountered. I will try with a clean override folder when I have a chance.

I understand, just trying to figure out what might have happened so others can avoid it.

I cleared my override (backed it up), and indeed I no longer crash when opening the store. Fun module MM, I like it.
Cheers.
