Looking for Help - Paid Job

               We're tossing around the idea of hiring someone to help set up and fix a few things on our box... but we're hesitant because it means allowing full access, and we've had trouble in the past with people stealing, etc. Perhaps there's someone with a longstanding good history in the community that is interested, so we wouldn't be dealing with a complete stranger? And yes, it's a paid job because I AM that desperate not to be doing this myself - I'm just a builder!

Looking to...
-Add the PRC
-Split into two servers on one box (Linux-based)
-Fix a problem with the ip address not staying the same

               I would strongly suggest it would be easier to contact individuals who would help do this.                I have nothing to do with this little arguement aside from telling 'eye candee' not to flame the boards about it.

               So PRC integration, completely from ground up? hak work done to be compatible?  
Module tags set for scripts?

Server portal, and probably some sort of integrity of characters between the two portals?  (ie using vaultser?)

Dynamic IP addressing should be the easiest of that list.  www.portforward.com can probably help you some.  If you're hosting on a remote server via paid hosting that might be something you have to take up with your provider.

I suppose the big question will be how much you are paying, but that can be answered via PM.

I ask the most basic questions to even begin to formulate an appropriate estimate.  I am certain there are more qualified and smart people out there, but if it's going to be a long term project, you'll have more difficulty in finding someone to pick it up.

               Mostly from the ground up. I'm the one handling the PRC atm and adjusting 2da files to remove the options we don't want available. As for making it compatible with the existing module, I believe that will need to be done.

Yes, we use server vault.

We have someone hosting it, we used to use a hosting site but had too many issues with it.

               id say for the ip changing issue use http://www.no-ip.com/ or http://www.dyndns.com/ what those both do are instead of having to type out a ip you just download one of those make an account with either and youll have a url which will just update automaticly to reflect your external ip

               PRC just needs to be made to work with our current NWNX set up, we'll do the basics... uploading and adding it to the module. We may need help with setting up the convo that allows you to select subraces, or in general getting the subraces tied into NWNx again. We'll be removing our old subraces, and I'm going to try to do that myself.

For the second server, it would need to be set up to run along side the first on the same box, and have auto-reset times (which the current server has already). Documentation for us on how to login to reboot or troubleshoot on either server would be needed (we only know how to login to a box running one server). A means to add transitions between the two for in game pc transfer from one server area to the other server's area. I have some info on scripting this from a friend, just haven't refined it.

Will discuss our hosting in PMs.

There's a few people contributing to payment, so it'd be best to figure out how many hours of work this should be, to determine a fair amount. But yep, PMs again for that.
