[SOLVED] Nathyrra is a dear but I don't like her as a deer

               Hi,

I've encountered a strange problem which I can't figure out how to solve. 

I'm in the Wizard's Tower in Shaori's Fell where I died.  Unfortunatelly, just before I respawned, Nathyrra cast a spell which, due to magic surge, turned her into a deer.  Now I don't know how to get her back.  Assuming time would eventually turn her back I left the game running for over an hour; cleared the tower without her; rested a bunch of times to no avail.  Being a fighter I can't cast any spells like Dispell Magic.  I also don't have many magical items, I gave those to Sharwyn and now Nathyrra.  How do I  get Nathyrra back?

               Can't you access her inventory (radial menu on her or through dialog)? Or bring her to some healer or druid around?

That's a tough one since it's not one of standard polymorph self forms.

I'm not sure about polymorph, but it may not be dispel-able anyway, especially the custom effect which may have been caused by the surge.  You can try dispelling with your fighter by spawning in a Rod of Reversal, tag: nw_wmgmrd005

There are two other things that may have some effect.

If Nathyrra is still listed as a portrait in your party, try dropping her to see if that changes anything.

But I would try to kill her in her current form and then try resurrecting her again.  

Really seems like a situation that, had it occurred in my game, I would be loading a prior save and just chalking up the oddity to experience.

               I just loaded an earlier save.  It meant redoing everything in Lith My'athar and the strange island (Wizard's Tower was my lost stop before heading to the castle) but at least I have Nathyrra with me.  Thank you for your replies.

               Sorry to bump this thread, (and i know this is listed as solved but i think this might help others rather than having to reload a previous save) but while a PC is polymorphed resting ends the spell, now if she was still a member of the party and following you arround you could try finding a safe spot to rest even for a second to see if that ends the polymorph?
