New Closed Campaign Starting - Semiotics

Heyo, people. The Semiotics campaign will be starting up later this month. I'd like some people to play with. I'm
interested in running a traditional party-based adventure with a minimum of four but a maximum of six PCs, whom will work to unravel the mystery surrounding a magical event and the forces behind it. I want some established PCs to take up roles as motivators of the plot. These PCs will be given special information, resources and tasks from NPCs (and a little bit of stage direction from me), in order to recruit a group for the event. I would like a minimum of four and a maximum of six players for a given event. There'll be other...guidelines, but they're less important right now. At the moment I have three slots for PCs that need to be filled:


Champion:

Your character is a hero or antihero. They become emotionally attached to ideas. They can focus on a task until it is accomplished. This character has an ability to influence people, through whatever means. This character can lead, form a group, and guide the group in accomplishing tasks. Inspiring. Orator. Leader.


Agent:

This character believes in enlightened self-interest. They don't wish harm on anyone for no reason (or even rationalized reasons), but are completely willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. They are willing to work for an employer and remain loyal, at the promise of rich rewards for success. They are good at concealing their loyalties, or leveraging them effectively. Sly. Capable. Self-assured.


Villain:

This character believes in complete self-interest, nihilism or is a well-intentioned coward. They are willing to be subservient to a hideous power for the possibility of reward, or being spared. Requires a firm grip on villainous tropes. Character must be villainous, but player must be playing with the intent of entertaining other players. Psychotic. Talker. Zealot.


Keep in mind, the Agent and Villain are on top of my six player maximum, for a total of eight if the party fills up. The Champion character will be doing most of the recruiting (with some vetting by an NPC in-game). If you're interested in any of these positions just post the character you'd like to bid into the position and a few reasons why in the thread. I'll keep it informal unless I feel like I'm not getting enough information. As I fill the slots, I'll brief people on what's expected of them, and recruiting and inclusion in the plotline will begin in-game. It's gonna be a bit crazy, kids.

               Yep, it's on WSI... but the areas DMs use are often non-public and you can only access them via DM. We've started to build just for closed campaigns.
