Somone with the gift of the gab and a GOG account needed

                Hi guys. With the master server and gamespy problems, I think there may be a problem that has possibly been overlooked. Over the recent holiday period, the most popular game bought on GOG has been NwN. Now once these new players have finished with the oc and expansions some at least are going to want to try their hand at playing on a persistent world or two (or more). Unless someone actually goes onto the GOG forums for NwN and tells them what is going on and how the community is setting about fixing it, these will be potential players of your pw.

As I am not a regular player in the pw scene, I thought I would bring this to your attention in the hope that someone who can explain about this who already has a GOG account could post a new thread on there and hopefully get it stickied. I am guessing that getting such a thread stickied on there shouldn't be too great a problem as it is in GOG's interest sales wise.

So, anyone want to step up to the plate?

               This is a great idea, I looked into this a while ago too, but unfortunately to post on their support boards for NWN 1, it seems you have to have bought the game from them first. So if anyone has, and would like to post an update about the gamespy situation (the master server is already mentioned on there), and what alternatives are out there for the server lists, I think this would be a good idea too.

               Lazarus, that only applies on the support side. I haven't actually bought the game from them (I bought it soooo long ago) but it was quite willing to let me post in the nwn community forums which is where I was suggesting someone post. The only thing you need is a GOG account in order to post there.

               Thanks, I did not know such a community existed. I guess I will look into compiling, and posting alternatives to gamespy myself if no one else does. I still think it would be good to get that posted on the NWN 1 support forum on gog.com as well though.
