               Worlds of Rhun has just got a brand new Community Page - and integrated the forums to allow facebook registrations.

About:
Worlds of Rhun originally started out about 6 years ago as Lands of Rhun, the original version released by the Rhunning Team on the vault. (One of the major contributers was Shayan - 'Shayans Subrace Engine')

Since the original version - it has undergone a multitude of changes.

* Updating to CEP2.3
* Updating Subrace Engine to add more hooks.
* Updating Subrace Engine in general to allow higher int values than 255 (necessary for Wing and Tails)
* Integration with WebServices: An Action in the Server can cause a re-action in the real world. E-mails, Forum Posts, Forum Currency: Linked to the server via C# / PHP API's
* 40+ Powerful Subraces - many of which come with their own individual gameplay systems.
        eg: Vampires can get bloodline castles, sire other players, and gain blood points to use as currency to enhance their own strain of vampirism. Enhancing the bloodline can grant things like + bonuses to ability scores, skills, or bonus feats. As well as teleport powers.
       eg: Fae Subrace - have the ability to launch blasts of light magic that can blast enemies away.
* Many Subraces have Subracial Rivalries: Fae are hunted by Vampires - so they are hostile by default.
* Stargate System - Worlds of Rhun is in some ways a mishmash of different popular cultures bought together into a fantasy setting. Aliens, Monsters, Gods, Demons, linked together on different worlds via Stargates.
* Deity System: Players who complete a special ingame treasure hunt can acquire the ability to become a God on the server. They essentially lose all their ability scores, and levels, but instead are given a new gameplay system to work with. Their aim is to gather followers. The more followers they have, the more energy per minute they gain. They can then choose to distribute those energy points per minute to whatever aspect they want.
Eg: 5 Points per follower. 
And They can spend either 1 Points per Skill/Ability Score of their choice, or 5 Points per Level. (Will not grant Ability/Skill Increases, but will grant Feats.
In addition to the physical attributes they can acquire: They get the ability to teleport to anywhere in the server, toggle on God Mode at a cost of 15 Energy Per minute, and have access to 10 Basic God Powers (each costing Energy per use) as well as 10 Powers that are determined by their God Portfolio selection.
eg: You can choose a Primary, Secondary and Tertiary portfolio.
Which may be something like
Death, Time, Earth
Granting +5 Death Powers
                 +3 Time Powers
                 +2 Earth Powers
* Deity Prayer System: Normal Players can pray to Gods of the Servers (other players who are gods). These prayers are either delievered in game, or if the god is offline, they are sent as an e-mail. A new feature being developed is the God Online API - That will allow players to pray for something specific, and the God can choose how to answer that prayer via clicking on a link in the e-mail. Eg: Prayers for Gold could be answered by granting the Player +10000 gold, or an evil god may instead Send bandits to rob the player. The Choice is up to the God.

Rhun Resource Downloader: This application allows the player to download alot of custom content. The content is not stored in haks, and instead put into the override directory, making the content optional. Meaning if you dont have the content, you can still get into the server.
New developments in the application have allowed for the compression of entire hak packs, and unrarring the contents to the override directory: Allowing lots of customized tilesets to be made available to the player.
Areas that use these hakpacks are automatically none-accessible unless the player has set a field on their forum profile to say they have used the downloader. (Otherwise they may crash if they enter the area).

Worlds of Rhun itself is very much open ended. Many of the default questlines are epic enough as they are, while the ones that I have added are aimed towards group play for even the more godlike players.
A Diablo-esq Storyline has been added, where the player can combat Lords of Hell, and imprison them in SoulStones - featuring entirely scripted custscenes.
