First, allow me to say that Reconstructed Nordock is by far the best Persistant World I've ever played on. I've played there for about seven years and loved every second. The server has recently come under new management due to real-life issues that forced the old staff to move on. We're very excited to once again bring Recon back to the enjoyment for players everywhere.

Let me tell you a little bit about the nature of the server. It's a role playing server based on the original Nordock by Marc Richter, but altered in so many ways that it earned its prefix, Reconstructed. Other than the many changes to spells, feats, quests, items, areas, monsters, and NPCs, the player characters themselves have had an enormous impact on the world through different DM run quests and plotlines. Custom shops, towns, NPCs, and quests have been implemented thanks to the players. Here are the hard facts about what has been changed in Recon:

- Forgotten Realms Drugs available; complete with addiction and overdose system.
- Advanced Container Looting determined by Race/class/Feats/Skills
- Unique class abilities such as Blackguards Detect Good Tool and Rangers Command Animal Tool
- Rogues aquire Xp for Disarming Traps.
- Balanced Game Play between classes.
- Custom Epic Main Quest
- Revised Death System

If you think you know a better Nordock server, check out Recon and prove me wrong. You will not be successful, and our excellent community which has been like a family since 2004 will instead give you such a warm welcome that you won't be able to do much more than quit your job, sell your house, and move into Reconstructed Nordock for good.
