Say hello to your community
« on: March 18, 2011, 07:39:24 pm »

Hello NWN1 Persistent Worlds and Multiplayer,

When I started building my server and playing again honestly by the looks of the forums at that time I thought that this was going to be a short lived venture. Now, that some time has passed, I've found that this community is actually still very active and that there are people here still loyal to Neverwinter. I realize the number of players have fallen greatly due to Neverwinter Nights 2 and other games like WoW or Starcraft. It's because of this discovery and that I thought I'd start a new thread, and that as of late a lot of the topics I see here are very serious toned.
I thought I'd suggest to just say hello and explain why you're still here with the rest of us on NWN1?
What do you do? Player? Builder? DM? Alittle bit of everything?
What's your favorite server/ game?
Of course I'm not asking for everyone to divulge the biggest secrets of their NWN lives but I think the fact that our community still exists and that there arent alot of us left that we should become more familiar with one another. If you don't want to share and feel like this isn't a topic for this forum then thats ok but I disagree. I think only good things can come from knowing your fellow players and whatnot.
Hell...maybe everyone who still reads this forum will want to build a server together. I'd throw my hat in the ring as a builder. Who else wants to make a Forum Server for NWN?
I'll leave a little introduction for myself at the bottom so that you can maybe a idea of what you can post here. It doesnt have to be deep or be exactly anything like what I put down here but I still would like to talk to all of you.

Felseero

Hey everyone,
I'm FelSeero and I have a server that I run called Kingdom of James. My favorite part of NWN is the toolset and server hosting, I'm proud of what I've made even if it is rather simplistic. My favorite classes are Fighter, Rogue, Blackguard, Monk and Cleric...most of the times I tend to shy away from magic users because I'm a big fan of hack and slash games. I have a group of people that are personal friends who play on the server with me. Not a big rule buff as my favorite phrase is "If the game lets me do it then why not?". I love Dungeons and Dragons and now Pathfinder and World of Darkness are two of the paper and pencil games that I still play every weekend. I also have XBox and I play Dragon Age 2 religiously now. Always a fan of meeting new people so don't be shy and say hi sometime.''
