Mute an object's sound?
« on: May 13, 2016, 03:32:35 pm »

Is there a way to mute an objects sound by overriding it with some other low volume persistent sound, or perhaps by some other method? I know this is a strange question but it'd be a really big help if it were possible '<img'>

Would the above not accomplish what you want.

Stopping the music would be effectively the same as muting it... right?

Are we talking about sound objects - like the looping waterfall sounds you might hear by a pool of water (eg: with a radius etc)

If so - I think the above should suffice?

I have creatures that use vfxs on heartbeat as part of their aura and it creates a lot of unnecessary noise.

In some cases, there are silent versions of the vfx.
