Equiping Item causes effect.
« on: August 10, 2013, 04:54:55 am »

               Hey everybody,
Been playing around with the OnPlayerEquipItem event in mod properties.
What I am looking to do is this, Every time a pc equips an item, it causes a specific script to fire.
It sounded simple enough. After several hours, I still got nothing. Any help out there ?

Thank you squatting monk. You are most helpful. As a noob I am still learning a great deal. A point in the right direction is always greatly appreciated.

Lilac Soul's script generator can help with this. It offers instructions on how to use that script.

Thank you dr.b. To be honest, I read through Grimlar's intro to tag based scripting(Lexicon), and it was way over my head. I have learned a great deal since the first time I opened the toolset, but I have to admit, that the work of others still amazes me. I did a work around in the on acquire item, and got the result I was looking for. I will keep at it, and hope someday that I can reach the level of skill I see in others.
