               Just poking around, trying to find the newest version.

Found one pretty lately posted on the vault but it was version 8.1.3

That could be the latest fully tested one.

I know I got one called 8.1.4 alpha on my harddrive but it is only an erf. No readme and no pdf manual. Well I guess the manual is the same for all 8.x.x versions.

Anyone tested this alpha version?

               Hmm...it goes on heartbeat...is this good for performance?

               It has a pseudo heartbeat implementation as well that you stick in on area enter. You can get the ins and outs on how to do this by reading the readme, and digging through the sample scripts. My version of NESS has one. Let me know if yours doesn't and I'll post it.

I really like NESS for what you can do with it in a PW. However once I started building a SP mod, my attitude changed. I'm on the cusp of taking my simple spawn more seriously and developing it into a mature system.

               Make sure you dl the tool, that allows you to construct the parameters.  I used 7.1 in Second God War, and found it to be very useful.  In my current pw I constructed my own spawn system based around my random spawn with spot and listen. I combine that with placeable spawn objects and a random walking spawn with a dash of bioware's standard spawning to create a mish-mash stew of spawn mechanisms that even beffudles me at times.
