Record Random Combat Events ?
« on: February 21, 2011, 05:35:53 am »

A friend of mine and I were thinking it would be fun to record how many times a player experiances certain events such as death, or resting. "Consider it done' I say. Then he suggests recording the number of times a player is poisoned, charmed or knocked down... But I have no idea how to record those kind of combat events.

So I suppose my question would be, how can I find out when a player is poisoned, charmed, knocked down or any other combat event?

If you have a log being recorded, that could include all the combat results.  Of course that's just a raw file that you'd have to go thru, or figure a way to process somehow.

I suppose you might be able to create some sorta script to monitor and tabulate whatever events you wanted per PC.  No idea of how easy or difficult that might be, as scripting is not really my forte '<img'>
