Custom 1.69 Spell System - Your Thoughts?
« on: August 23, 2010, 07:42:12 pm »

I'd like to make a Custom 1.69 Spell System that each builder would have complete control over, which would include an include script with loads of switches to turn options for specific spells on/off, and switch which would control Epic DCs for all spells, and other nice options for all spells..  (Higher Ground's Legendary Leveler will be check for levels 41-60)

This may be a monsterous project, and will probably require a few months of testing, but I'm up for the challenge...
(As I've done a lot of spell scripting in the past..)

What are your thoughts on making a system like this?

Is anyone interested in providing some script functions / fixes for this system?

I need feedback before I begin, because this is going to be a horrendous amount of work, I'm sure..

I'll also do an optional spell hooking system, for those who want greater control over thier spells...

Of course, all of this will be extremely well outlined and documented, and I'll be making a custom script to set the description of the Caster's Manual so that all players can keep track of spell changes AS THEY HAPPEN... '<img'>

If anyone has any suggestions or has a request for a fix, please do so below, thanks...

As I said in my thread - my spell scripts rewrite will easily allow this via few lines of code. Just sing up or wait for it, no need to make the almost same work twice '<img'>

Cool ShaDoOow, I hope you do it good mate, with all the switches / controls for the builder (I just hate having "Fixes" forced on me...)
