Natural weapons and weapon size

Hi,

         Does anyone know off-hand if the weapon size use restrictions apply to creature weapons?

Lucirath, my Demoness, uses Natural Weapons as well as assorted blades and I've not had any not work so far... Then again, she's ten feet tall, so I can't say what the case might be for mere mortals...

I've never had an instance, so far as I recall, of any Creature, from small spiders to colossal Spleen Monsters refusing any Natural item...

 

Since anything, of any size, could potentially have, for example, claws, a size restriction wouldn't make much sense... but then again...

 

As far as I've ever noticed, the answer is "no", but I've not conducted rigorous experiments to prove it, so I could be hideously and amoebically wrong and just have been lucky thus far.

Thanks PHoD. I think you may be right. I'm toying with making all the creature weapons tiny in the hopes that some creatures will be able to benefit from Weapon Finesse.  The only other thing I could find besides the restrictions of not using weapons  > 2 sizes smaller or > 1 size larger is the effect on disarm attempts... but natural equipment can't be disarmed.   Given that the creature weapons are medium by default I think none of the creatures would be effected by these restrictions currently.  I'll have to test it ...

In the toolset, at least, the answer is "no".

 

Creature weapons are size 3 (medium) in baseitems.2da. In the toolset, equipping a tiny creature with a normal size 3 weapon results in an error message, but equipping a creature weapon does not.

Apparently 1.69 enabled weapon finesse for all creatures regardless of size... no need to change the creature weapon sizes.  I should have tested it more closely '>  Thanks for the input guys.
