Uwrap problem

Could anybody help me?


I was converting some cool bone weapon models from warcraft 3 to nwn.


I managed to convert one, but uwrap change dont show ingame.

I can't assure that. But I think that the problem could be that you have include several different objects, with a different textures for each one; In the same weapon piece. NWN weapons aren't built in that way. Each piece is a single object with a single texture. So maybe the graphic engine of NWN can't stand anything beyond that.


I'll recommend you to attach all the objects of the each piece into a single one. Modifying the UW map coordinates and made a single texture for the weapon parts.


Also I think that it looks a little dark. NWN models looks better if they have  0.0 0.0 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 as settings for ambient and diffuse. your models have 0.588 0.588 0.588 as diffuse settings. I think that you should change that.


BTW - the weapons looks very nice. more bone weapons are always useful for Dark Sun modules....

as i have said some nice guy on hiveworkshop allowed me to convert some of his bone weapons to nwn.

0.0 0.0 0.0 as setting for ambient and diffuse will make it REALLY dark.


You should set them to 1.0 1.0 1.0 (which is what Shem meant, I'm sure).
