               In my constant fight against the bag monsters I almost finished with the ring override. Should be done by next weekend.

               Bioware only gave us one gold model, so with the same trick as the other we can add any number we want of new models and icons without even a hak. Fixed the non reflective standard model also.

               wow, that sounds great.
i know the Aielund Sage had used some different gold models, but iirc those weren't real glround objects, but rather placables, that got deleted by a script.

thricking the engine into using real different groundmodels automatically is an awesome find.
looking forward to the release.
In fact i only found your mod through this anouncement, but so far i have been injoying the gems and books very much.

               Thanks '<img'> I been trying to get this subject as a CC challenge so we can get a bunch of people working on it. Then we can get it all done fast and get rid of all the bags, maybe pop it into bif so it be standard part of the system. It be pretty easy for a lot of the models you could just take placables and rename them. Until that happens I keep plugging away at this when I get time.                im pretty sure either ProjectQ or the ShadoOow from the Community patch should be highly interested in this. The community patch currently has standard groundmodels for many old bag items (that is: one style fits all: one pair of boots, gloves, one belt, amulett, ring, gem and potion style).

project q on the other hand currently has ground models for a few objectsitself, two of which with a modular setup. i think they are using your gems in 1.6 and a rather impressive modular potions system with animated glowing textures in different colors.

personally i have extracted the potions and merged them with your downloads and used them in a patch hak file on my client end.

so i think there is a bright future for your endeavour. it's easily added to an existing setup via patch haks, and i can see custom content bundles licking their fingers for these additions

               Ok the gold and rings are up at the site. I will add them to the new vault also, later.

               the rings work flawlessly, however, i see no gold show up when using the 1.71 unofficial patch. any 2da lines that could clash? the baseitems line for gold is vanilla.
but how exactelly is defined, which gold item will be used when?

edit: ok silly me. it works. i can select the different models in the toolset. at first i was hoping to see something similar to what the rings books and gems do, as in: as a player i can use this as an override and get improved visuals ingame. of course this can not work for gold coins dropped in game. :-D would have been nice though

edit2: after some fiddling around with the new ring i have to say: i love them. they are awesome and really well done. even those small little gems inside shimmer.
