Anyone else have a problem with pms?

Over the past few days I've tried to pm a number of people and nothing happens. Click on send a message and zilch happens. I've had to resort to recycling old messages to people to get around this.
The question is - is it just me or are other people experiencing this. It's not as though I'm using an obscure browser or anything (firefox).

You know, Tarot Redhand, the title of this thread could be construed another way...
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Back to the intent of the thread...no problem on my end. Loading up the PM interface just fine (also using Firefox).

<considering...>
Considering the problems you're having with uploading images as well... have you tried Chrome as a browser? Is your Java/flash/etc up to date?

Oh no!!!! You mean it needs Java... Following all the recent stuff in the uk computing press about how insecure Java is supposed to be I removed it. Ho Hum. Note to self (a thousand expletives deleted) - I'll have to try re-downloading and installing it.

<shaking his head...>
Interesting. I get pop-up notices from gmail about PMs here about 2-3mins before this site tells me about them :-)
