               CEP Now Hiring!

Work from home!  Choose your hours!  Show your creative side!  Be part of a team!

Hours: Negotiable
Pay: None (unless you count occasional community gratitude)

The Community Expansion Pack (CEP) team is looking for some fresh blood, new recruits, conscripted workers, or even just willing volunteers to help continue to improve and expand on one of the most widely used and long-lived content projects around.

The CEP team is looking for several dedicated individuals that can help keep this project thriving.  Headed by Barry_1066 (who has been working on the project mostly on his own since the last update), the project is in search of volunteers that can work with various forms of NWN content, from tilesets to creatures to placeables to sounds to whatever else is needed.

If interested, please post a message here mentioning the type(s) of content you know how to work with.

I know nothing about modeling, but I've done some creature skins in the past.

My scripting skills are "meh" at best, but I have some toolset skills.

Not that I have a ton of time (I'm primary caretaker of a 4 month old boy) but I'll help where I can.

Bumpage.  I know the team needs model workers and those that can modify/merge tilesets.

Didn't realize the CEP Team had it so rough. Hopefully they find some new recruits and can continue. Although both teams have had their differences over the past few years, I'd hate to see CEP close its doors.

I just had a thought.  Not sure how applicable it is but...It would be nice if there were a list issues that needed fixing somewhere and then people could just wander in and maybe fix a specific issue and then kind of wander back off again.  Kind of like how this forum crowdsources people to help out on specific problems without them necessarily working on whatever project the problem is in.

People who might not otherwise have time to help out more deeply could at least pitch in occasionally..

I would like to fix the issue of CRP hidden items, compartments, etc. not working on PWs. In fact, the last time I looked it did not work on the CRP starter module. I think there's something going on with the scripting where compartments, items, and the like are incorrectly destroyed. I've been working on the startup to a new PW but I'd sure like to see this nonsense corrected, because it would be fantastic if it worked as intended.
