Problem with robes
« on: September 03, 2011, 10:59:01 pm »

               Hello!
I'm working on adapting the NWN2 backpacks to NWN1. In this case I'm making them robes but I encounter the following problem that I show in the image:

When the robe-pack is in motion disturbs. Does anyone know how I can fix it? Thanks in advance! If you need to pass the models no problem, but I would like to know how managed to future modification ^ ^. A greeting

P.D Sorry my bad english! '<img'>

cool backpacks, I would live to see them implemented in other ways besides robes.

If you post a link to the models I'll try to take a look at them.  But couldn't these be done...in VFX or something?  Aren't there quivers and backpacks and such done with VFX?  Great art on the backpack, BTW.  Reminds me of Ryzom.

VFX would work well.  There are some VFX backpacks in CEP (from the "adventure gear" package available on the Vault).  They might make a good model basis for positioning.

You would do well to check out AD's work here too:

Thanks, Amethyst Dragon, for the nice tutorial on extending your work there. '<img'>
(which I somehow neglected to vote on (which I'm now rectifying))

maybe as Wing models? 1.69 added quivers, backpacks, and scabbards as wing models... as wings, they're something a player could add to their character via a .bic editor rather than needing to apply via script..

If you are willing to share your artwork maybe someone is willing to add this as wings. That would have an instantly wider appeal given how many good robes _six has been making.

Or as a VFX, since some servers allow PCs to have wings.
