I noticed in your how to forums, there isn't anything explaining this:
1. I just did a fresh re-install of NWN1. I Downloaded the CEP 2.4 then Unpacked it using Peazip. I went to put the files into their respective folder, but when I did some of them had older versions or ones from the NWN 1.69 patch.
It tells me it already has a file with that particular .file name etc..,then it asks if I want to cancel, overwrite it, or use both files by changing the file name to .file2 instead of say .file1 etc....
Am I supposed to overwrite those files or put them side by side with the file name changed ?
2. When I click on the doc folder from the CEP download it brings up a CEP folder. Do I place the CEP folder into the docs folder in the main NWN file,or do I just open up the cep folder and place the files inside it over to the docs folder in the NWN main folder ?
For your first issue: I'm slightly confused because if you have a fresh install of NWN1 there sholdn't be any overwriting anything. Now, if you had a previous installation and either A) installed over it or
preciously uninstalled it choosing the option to keep your own files (saves / haks / mods / etc) AND had a previous CEP2 version already in that saved hak folder, then it would make more sense.
Whichever the case, there either should be no need to ask you to overwrite (A) or you're fine to just tell it to overwrite any existing CEP2 files already present.
For your second issue: Just put the entire folder in the docs; it really doesn't make a difference. Should CEP go back to it's automatic updater in the future, this is where it will place those files. Otherwise, you'll just wind up with duplicates.
