Epic spells
« on: October 28, 2013, 06:54:10 pm »

                Hello to everyone,
so while wandering around the stores of the merchants in the "Halls of Advanced Training" (I really love the custom stuff in tehre) I stumbled upon some epic scrolls (mummy dust, dragon knight, hellball etc), and I noticed that MagicalMaster had a link in his signature where he edited some of those epic spells.

The question: can I learn epic spells with my wizard or sorcerer? What are the prerequisites if any? Until now I was able to see those magics only by using scrolls.

Thank you

               http://nwn.wikia.com...ory:Epic_spells

Level 21 Sorcerer/Wizard/Cleric/Druid or level 15 Pale Master along with the needed Spellcraft ranks.

The only one worth anything by default is Epic Warding.  For some very specific builds Epic Mage Armor can be useful.  Rest are trash by default.

What MM said + some info if you are going to try my unofficial patch.

The level requirement is 17for wizard, cleric, druid and 18 for sorcerrer provided you still fulfill requirements (that is epic level, spellcraft ranks)

Also hellball has been improved in a way that if you cast it on yourself it does not affect your character at all, which makes this spell really useable especially with druid who has no better options anyway.

Epic Mage Armor is a godsend for all your arcane polymorphs since no gear will merge and lasts seemingly forever with a high-level mage.  But like MM recommended... Epic Warding is even better for them, penetrating up to +20 DR with creature weapons.
