Looking for a auto hak updater
« on: July 30, 2013, 07:55:43 am »

               Hi was just wondering if anyone knows of an auto hak updater that is easy to use. Was wanting to put one on a PW world that we are building. I have seen them on other servers but can't seem to find any on the vault?

Thanks

               Here ya go. It's easilly missed as its found under NWN2, but works for NWN as well.

               Techless One here, but would the Nexus Mod manager qualify? Have only used it for Skyrim games, but it would seem to do what is requested for the Neverwinter Nexus.

               <whispering...>

Also keep your eye on Pain's Never Launcher ;-)
We are integrating that into the new Vault (and talking with the Nexus) so that eventually a player just needs to hit "play" to play any mod anywhere, and be up to date.

               The nexus module manager does not do it, it's not set up for the NWN games ( their api is not even exposed )

You are looking at WorldGate and Audolo as the main solutions from memory, i used to use world gate and it was very good as long as the file count stays below a certain high number ( issue with ftp ).

My own system, in conjunction with the vault and the nexus, is designed to do this exact same thing, however it does it not for admins of a PW like this describes, but for players, and is still in development. ( I am designing it in a way so it supports all the PWs, in a way so the PW admin actually does not have to do anything, nor do i have to go thru every PW and set it up for them )
