Is anyone still playing NWN online?
« on: May 04, 2013, 01:53:03 am »

Is anyone still playing NWN online? And if so, where are you playing?

I'm an old time player that hasn't played in years.  I remember good servers like Blackstone Keep and Dystopia. Are there any good servers still out there?

Yes.  Yes there are.  The PW & Multiplayer section of the forum has a bunch listed, and you'll likely also get a bunch of us chiming in if you start a thread there asking for recommendations. '<img'>

               http://nwnserverlists.boards.net
There are links on that site to other lists of online servers as well.

Once you have the IP address and port for a server, use Direct Connect to join the server.

Or you could review the various solutions for finding servers, one of which makes the server list show up in game ( NWNCX ) just like it used to, and also eliminates the long wait to login among other things.

Most of the community developed solutions are actually working together in some manner to share the same comprehensive list, so which one you use is largely a matter of how well they implemented it.
