Server time out fix?
« on: May 01, 2012, 03:35:53 am »

               Found this on NWN2forum .

C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

then open host in notepad and add                 0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com
                                                                                 0.0.0.0 nwn.master.gamespy.com

You wont have to wait.

Haha, so it won't let it actually connect to either, very good idea!

I actually already knew how to do this, but the idea didn't come to me, thanks for sharing.. '<img'>

(TESTED THIS: It works great!)

Unless you don't want to be listed in the Internet tab of the game client, you probably don't want to block nwn.master.gamespy.com.  (I think)

Yup, I can confirm this. Do not block or alter Game Spy if you plan to host. Took me a few hours of head scratching when I wanted to put up a test module last winter and no one could find it. '<img'>
