True Seeing vs Blindsight
« on: March 11, 2012, 05:07:20 pm »

I was testing Blindshight feat (monster feat  - I Letoed it to my PC) and as far as I can tell - it worked.
My module uses HenchAI so monsters are a bit smarter and hide if they can. I didn't put any skill ranks to Spot or Listen but character with Blindsight had no problems with detecting hostile shadowdancer.

Does anyone know how exactly this feat work/have any experience with this feat? How is it different from True Seeing effect?

As far as I could tell from playing in one mod that gave quite a few creatures blindsight, the difference is that true seeing uses a LOS check, and blindsight doesn't.
You can at least corner sneak to stay stealthed against an opponent with true seeing, the same tactic wouldn't work for me against blindsight.

Have you tested it against those in Sanctuary?  TS will detect them but not allow direct targeting.  If BS works the same, then they are probably interchangeable.
