Found this site - Serendipity - while I was looking for some ideas for names. It has all kinds of useful functions for generating names, descriptions, and even plot lines.

Amethyst Dragon, if you see this post could you please link this to Neverwinter Nights Community Site ?

               Nice!

I just added the link to both the player (great way to quickly come up with a PC name) and module builder sections.  I can say that I will be using that resource a lot.

Thanks, Pstemarie!

Maybe a stupid question but is it possible to change the random name generator used by NWN? So that it reads from a 2da depending on race/sex of character?

Looking to add some depth to your commoners and merchants...

What Did People do in a Medieval City

This site has a pretty comprehensive list of medieval occupations - with brief descriptions for most, covering everything from Reeves to Boothalers.

I use The Santharian Dream as a resource for my own fantasy writing projects, most specifically for the languages of imaginary races, but it has a HUGE knowledge base that is useful for other aspects of RPG gaming.  Saves me from lots of unproductive googling elsewhere.
