Man, wish I could get them here in Germany!

Why not buy them over the internet? They are now availiable in the UK. You might be able to order from UK to Germany, certainly it's not such a great distance '<img'>

'Quitting' was always too negative for it to work for me. One day, I made it a self-discipline thing and just stopped. I carried a fresh pack of smokes with me everyday in my shirt pocket for a year. Kept a fresh pack in the freezer for years afterward (all in the even the end of the world would be declared - I could light one in a jiffy).

However works for you - you can do it.

Be well. Game on.

Hummm, just wandering, would you happen to still have that pack somewhere by any chance?
I suppose you don't really need the extra 19 smokes, do you?
Oups, 'almost forgot: which brand? ***

Yeap, self-discipline seems to be the only way out for me too. I'm now having that strange feeling what I want being only what I think I want, or what I wanted once.
Like I could please myself to believe I would enjoy smoking again, only today deep inside...... I kind of know I wouldn't even like it so much. Liking resisting much more... which isn't even truly resisting anymore. Today, it's more like just not doing it.
And that's new.
(I'm not trying to convince myself, only kind of digging daily reporting.)
Welcome to my new addiction...

Happy Holydays, NWNers! ':wizard:'

               '<img'>   Hang in there friend!

Lol, I'd help you out but a RL friend, late one night, ran out of smokes and asked if he could 'borrow that pack' I said OK and never replaced it.  Ages ago. Just hang in there.

I think if you can trick yourself psychologically, which isn't really all that hard, if you consider advetisements and how they do it, into associating cigarettes with negative things it helps.  The nastiness of it for one, if you are a fastidious person, the smell, and other bad things.  Which is why, I suppose they want to put awful pictures on packs of smokes.  The flip-side is how much better you feel after just stopping for a few weeks.  I gradually cut back until one day I went cold turkey. So Happy Christmas, and New Years!

Thanks for posting the information back there on the first page.  I had recently found my password not working, and had tried the password reset and a webmail form contact to the admin, with no response, but once I saw here that those forms weren't functional, I emailed the admin with the address you gave here, and it was all straightened out the same day.  Thank you!
