Wow that just show you should get both just to see which you like, because I found just the opposite of what Vaalyah said. To me NWN2 , OC, and both expansions were SOOOO boring to me. I literally fell asleep at the desk in the second expansion. I finished both nwn1, nwn2 and all their expansions. I admit nwn1 OC was not that great either, second one was predictable but third one was good. But none of that matters once you start playing all the community made modules and online for both. It not a comparison, this has been talk to death. Both are good games and I recommend both, but for different reasons that make them good games that will keep you happily gaming, modding , scripting or whatever other subsections that are in both
