We'd Like To Roleplay In The Original Campaign
« on: September 06, 2010, 09:53:06 pm »

Okay, me and a few friends of mine (internet only, LAN is not an option) wish to play the original Neverwinter Nights campaign.

We're kids and cannot change our routers in anyway, shape or form because of parents killing us if we did.  Now then, I ask for someone to at least make games for us so that only 3 of us can roleplay (password protect it) or if someone would even make a server for the campaign that'd be great too.

We're just 3 roleplayers looking to play the original campaign and can't make our own games due to router, firewall, and other problems probably due to parents.  Therefore we need someone else to do it for us.

We'd all appreciate it, thanks for reading.

I'm pretty sure if you go into the multiplayer online game, and turn off "Hide Local Vaults" you will find someone hosting the main campaign, surely, and more than that, you will be able to use your own offline characters here too... Problem solved?  (we shall see)

You want to see if you can find a game over at Neverwinter Connections.

There might be someone there who is trying to arrange a game just like what you are wanting.

Or you might be able to start something of your own.

Or get yourselves involved in a seperate campaign.

Good luck!

Well then post a game of your own and maybe someone will join up.  Not everything comes on a platter.

Yes but I can't make a game of my own that people can see....that's our problem.  I'm not going to set up a game that I can't make on that site.  Unless I'm missing something here? ''

Wow.. It seems this post is 3 years old... Which is sad.... But... Cleric, there's a program called Hamachi (Log Me In Hamachi) is the full name. If you and your friends all install Hamachi then one of you hosts a Hamachi network.. Then you can all join it.. You'll be able to connect with each no bother at all. Hamachi fools the PC into thinking that it's an LAN connection so there's no problems connecting. It's what my friend and I had to use after having endless trouble with NWN (sometimes being able to connect, other times not).
