NWN from GOG and Rod of Archshifter

Hello

Recently i bought NWN Diamond from GOG and decided to install module Rod of Archshifter. Followed instructions and everything seems fine except i cant initiate dialogue with Rod. After using it nothing happens. My game version in 1.68 (it seems its latest patch on GOG ... ). What can be reason ? Is there a way to force conversation with Rod ? Like another debug mode command ?

Have you run the Bioware critical rebuild patch? In spite of what GoG say, the version that you buy from them is not completely up to date. The version of the patch that you probably need (1.69 NwN + SoU + HotU English PC) is here.

Yeah i downloaded patch 1.6.9 polish version (not sure if its critical rebuild, i have polish version of game) and managed to get it work on HotU campaign. Still original campaign no change, dialogue just wont open when using RoA. Few years ago when i played on cd version borrowed from friend it worked in OC, i remember fooling around as troll in act 2.

It seems that the rod should work once the correct 1.69' rebuild has been performed (but some older modules have issues).
