English windows and non english nwn

I have polish version of nwn and recently switched to english version of windows and my game doesn't display correct polish signs. By any chance someone remebers what should i do to fix display of non-english characters?

It probably has something to do with encoding. I haven't used any languages other than English in a while now, but, if I remember correctly, you need to go to Control Panel, select Region settings and change Language for Non-Unicode Programs setting to the language you need (Polish).
