Creating Character: Color
« on: December 03, 2013, 01:22:40 am »

                Hi everyone!

I have a little problem when i'm creating a character and that problem is that when I'm in the "color section" (when you change the hair color, skins color, etc.) it doesn't matter what color I chose, is always the same :S (silver) I mean if i chose red, it look silver. If i chose black, it looks silver!
I don't know  what problem it would be, maybe is a damaged file or something?

I  hope you guys  can help me please '<img'>

Installing patch 1.69 will fix this, your version is probably 1.68 currently.

EDIT: I almost forgot, here's a link to the page where you can get it (choose the one for your operating system and whichever one matches the expansions you have installed, if you have Diamond Edition from Gog select the one that says SoU and HotU): http://www.neverwint...nfo/players.htm

I have also encountered this problem in the Neverwinter Complete, it was installed with the 1.69 patch if I am not mistaken, I am also missing some good premade characters that were in the prior editions of the game. any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Lot of newer distributions that claims its 1.69 is messed up and the files from patch 1.69 are incomplete. You should try installing 1.69 critical rebuild as a first option if you got any issues.

what would be the best source for this patch? I tried downloading it twice, one from the links mentined above and the Vault website. Both seemed to crash the game completely I had to so a system restore to undo the DL. :-(  Any other options? Also, since the gmae is downloaded as "Neverwinter Complete" will it affect my NWN 2 and its expansions?

It won't have any effect on NWN 2. I have read in this forum that sometimes you need to install the patch 2 or 3 times to get it to work.
