Help with continual light effect (bug)
« on: September 06, 2013, 10:05:25 pm »

I was using an item with a light effect (a silver ring with a white light crystal, white light 20'), and when I removed the ring from my character, the light effect remained. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would assume it's a matter of making the porgram recognize the light-effect-item is off, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone help?

               thats weird, did you:
- tried crafting item appearance by any chance? (there is a light bug with that - my patch fixes it)
- tried resting?
- tried unequip all items?

in case that nothing helps I could make a short script that would removed all effects and you could then run it via console

Crafting item appearance wasn't an option; it was a ring. (Unless there's a way to do that I'm unaware of; I'd love to be able to tinker with cloaks). I unequipped, nothing. I hit the rest key by mistake...poof...problem fixed. :-)

couldnt that be effect of continuous or normal light you casted on yourself before? I dont think it would be caused by unequipping...
