Severe Installation Issue (Desperately need Assistance!!!)
« on: October 21, 2011, 11:36:08 pm »

               To the Point,
All of a sudden, when I go to install NWN 1 Diamond Edition, both buttons of the Autorun menu are blank, and if I go to run the setup file directly off of the Digital DVD file I made for it (the original is lost...'Image) the program gives a text box titled, "information", with just a speech bubble with an "i"  and an OK button which ends the process/program... Now, this is not supposed to be happening, and after looking this issue up on page 6 of tis same forum, apparently someone was able to install it manually, but gave shoddy details on how to do it...
The installation has worked succesfully before, but I don't know why its suddenly doing this now...
System Specs:
Game Version: Diamond Edition
Game Language: English
Digital: Retail CD / Retail DVD
Processor Manufacturer:  Intel
Processor Type:  Pentium 4
Processor Speed:2.59 GHz
Operating System / Service Pack: Such as WindowsXP/SP3
System RAM: 3 GB
Video Card Manufacturer: , NVIDIA
Video Card Model: Geforce3 Ti 200
Video Card RAM: 64 MB?
Video Card Driver Version: Forceware 7.77 (had to roll back for KOTOR 1/2)
Sound Card Manufacturer: SoundMax
Sound Card Model: Integrated Digital Audio
Sound Card Driver Version: 4.00 (again, numbers please)

Update: I properly got it to install unto my external hard drive (USB), from a laptop with vista on it, and it works like a dream... I still would like to know why it is not properly being read on this PC though (as I now only have 5 GB left on said drive out of 298!!!)... (also, don't know why it says "image removed" for the emotes I put uptop... also, grammar correction: "this same forum"...)
