Heya!
I have a really strange issue where I cannot join servers... any server at all. I get the server list when accessing multiplayer for all rooms, but I can't join any of them. This is really strange to me since I have never had this issue before.
This is what I get when trying to join a server:
"Attempting to find server."
"Connection to server has failed."
"Server is not responding (timed out)."I recently got a new computer, using Windows7. However I am using the same harddrive. I've tried to reinstall NWN and turn off my firewall completly but not before I REadded the rules for NWN to access the internet, both Inbound and Outbout. I've followed the sticky topics on this board for the Diamond release but to no success. I've also tried changing the
nwnplayer.ini file on the
Client Port option, chaning it to other ports. Nothing seems to be working.
We are using a router here and I am fairly certain I have opened all ports needed (
5120-5300,6500,27900,28900 for UDP, tried TCP as well and BOTH) since I used the same setting for my old computer. I've even gone to an extreme to shut down the Router's firewall protection for my computer and opened all ports. Still doesn't work.
Now here's the really strange part: I can host games without a problem! It usually seems its the other way around for users here

NWN still works fine on my laptop with the same cd-keys, however I am using Vista on that one. So I can join games just fine there.
