Issue with logging into the same world from two pcs with two diff cd keys

               I seem to recall an old fix on the old forumns for how to fix this problem. The server sees both of my pcs as having the same IP address. I seem to recall a simple fix in one of the files to fix this problem, but I cannot seem to find it.

I have two different rigs, with two different sets of cd keys trying to log into a persistant world "Dor Maeglin - Underdark"

Any and all help would be apreciated.

               Perhaps they setup an IP check writing their own scripts as the NWN authentication server is down and they don't want anyone logging in using multiple characters under multiple CD KEY accounts with the SAME IP.

Check with them.

               You need to make sure each client is using a different client port. In nwnplayer.ini, make sure each computer has this line:
Client Port=5120
set to a different number. Simply changing one from 5120 to 5121 will do the trick.

That's certainly possible. Also possible is that they're using NWNX.NET which blocks such logins because they can mess up player listings. Changing the port will work if that's the case, but if FP is right, there's nothing you can do.

               No clue. Bioware has not said anything regarding a time frame.
