Gamespy connection problems
« on: April 03, 2011, 12:59:15 am »

               Hello.

I'm after little advice. I've recently relocated and changed broadband provider, and as a result i have a new router. Prior to this I had no problems connecting to multiplayer worlds and so I assume my current connection problem is a direct result of the new router. Its a netgear N150. Prior to trawling through alot of Netgear and Gamespy faqs does anyone know any common compatability issues that could be causing this?

Any assistance greatfully received.

Thanks

Make sure your ports are opened/forwarded appropriately.

I've had a go at doing that, unfortunately i'm not making too much progress. I'm trying to use the netgear quidance for port forwarding (http://kbserver.netg...les/n101145.asp) and i'm trying to open 5120-5122??? but i'm not having much luck. Is there anyone thats familiar with it and can walk me through?

Thanks again
