Key Code Issue....

               To whomever may be able to help,

I have my Neverwinter Nights diamond edition box and CD, but my son has apparently misplaced the manual w/ the installation codes.  The old bioware website is still active, and shows installation codes for all 3 games (NWN, SoU, HoU), but as these are separate I'm assuming these are the ones from my NWN-Gold purcahse plus an indepenent buy of HoU.

Is there anyway to recover the installation codes off the diamond CD, absent the miraculous discovery of the diamond manual somewhere in our household goods (military, we have just PCS'd for the 3rd time since the original purchase of the gold stuff..)??  Or am I stuck w/ intalling he gold version & hordes alone (which, thankfully wasn't new enough for the son to want to mess with and subsequently, he didn't lose them anywhere??)

Any help, most gratefully appreciated.

               It does not matter which set of keys you use for your diamond install - the keys are not bound to the install media. Only reason to pay attention is that you need a different set of keys for each player in an online or network game, and if you bought the premium modules, then you need the keys that you had active in your bioware account during your online purchase.

               Thanks for the response, but perhaps I wasn't clear... I'm trying to install the diamond edition on my new computer, but i don't have the keys at hand because the manual was lost by my son apparently.  The webpage has keys, but there's nothing there for the diamond edition... I have keys for the gold edition plus the HoU I purchased separetly.  I was hoping to install the diamond edition, but but to make that happen I'm hoping that either my registration of the diamond edition included the keys, or there's a way to recover them off the cd.  Any thoughts?

               Your CD-Keys are not on your CD.   So if you do not have them recorded somewhere there is not much hope.   There is no difference in CD-Keys form one version of NWN to the next.  If someone else is not useing the CD-keys from the gold version Go ahead and use them.  



If you still have the install of them Diamond edition somewhere you CD-Keys will be located in a file called nwncdkey.ini in the main NWN directory

               The CD keys don't care what version of the game you are installing.  Diamond uses the same system as the original seperate entities did.  You could use your old keys on diamond and they should work.  As noted if you want to play online or have premium content purchased under certain accounts that will be different.
