NWN 1 Game issues (saving crashes and visual problems)

               I am running on windows 7 on the bootcamp side of a MacbookPro and for some reason recently my game has started crashing when i try to save.  Also the screen has horizontal bars that scroll up and down constantly really annoying.  I have tried reinstalling getting latest driver updates etc..
I need help if anyone is having the same problem or has some fix or advice for me I would appreciate it.

               Just out of curiosity - if you own a Macbook, why don't you use the macintosh version of nwn? It would probably save some headaches. I am no Mac user, but in this post you will for sure find valuable information.

               I purchased the game before i got the mac.  I tried to use the dual boot programs with no success so just stuck with bootcamp want to avoid shelling out another $20+ for a new mac version.  As well I run NWN2 and Dragon Age on the bootcamp side since no mac versions are available.
